Milen Tod has been a professional artist for over 18 years. His cityscapes and abstract paintings are the expression of a more subtle future dimension announcing the new world to come.

Describing Milen’s artwork is not an easy task, since he usually let the admirer discover an own truth, through the magic of forms, colors, composition, perspective and brilliant ideas.

“Milen composes lyrical paintings with his imagination and passion for paint and texture. How does colors bend flow or explode from one palette knife stroke to the next? The instrument he chooses creates when a splash of red goes here and when a splash of orange goes there. His paintings and murals are owned by over 1700 private collectors around the world. He has sold over 2300 artworks. Milen got his start painting a lot of ceiling and wall murals in hotels, offices, night club s, restaurants and houses.

“Composition is my first priority, and I pay careful attention to the balance of shapes, directions, weights, and colors. I work with semi-liquid paint and large palette knives to create my acrylic abstracts.
My art is like nature, it keeps changing and evolving. I work mainly with palette knifes and special pouring techniques.

When I’m not making art, I love hiking, rafting, windsurfing, rock climbing, and cave bouldering… basically anything outdoors!”
